Easy Peasy Guacamole

Avocados are a good source of healthy fats and are packed with lots of nutrients. Also a very versatile fruit as it can be used in smoothies,salads and spreads. Here is my version of the classic dip. The ingredients are kept to a minimum, so it's as fresh-tasting as possible.


1 avocado
1/4 onion, chopped
1 small tomato, chopped
the juice of 1/2 a lime
1 pinch chilli powder
1 pinch salt
1 pinch black pepper


1) Cut avocado in half, remove stone and scoop out filling.

2) Put in a bowl and mash with fork or spoon.

3)Chop onion and tomato into small pieces and add to mashed avocado.

4) Pour in the juice of half a lime and add a pinch of the chilli powder,salt and black pepper.

5) Stir until everything is combined.

6) Serve with tortilla chips or any bread of your choice.
