WHAT I LEARNT FROM FROM WORKING OUT

Everyone has a different story behind their weight loss, i thought i'ld share mine. I started my fitness journey in the summer of 2012. I was shopping online and I realized that i had to be careful when shopping for dresses cause i had a bit of a belly. I had to wear certain types of clothes to hide my belly, then I thought to myself "No i want to be able to wear anything I want, I don't want to have to bother about my belly or any part of my body for that matter".  So my journey began. This was my very shallow reason at the time, but I have seen the benefits both physically and mentally so there is no stopping me. It is now more than looking good in clothes, it is about proving to myself that i can set a goal and achieve the goal by exerting discipline and dedication to achieve my goal. It has not been an easy journey i tell you, but it has been worth it. I have learnt so much about myself, i am more confident and i can pull off almost any outfit. (I do not mean to brag, i am just stating facts).
I am working to improve myself everyday not because there is anything wrong with who I am at the moment but because i know there is always room for improvement. I want to be better version of myself everyday.

I started by doing Shaun T's insanity program, I was on the program for a month and i dropped one dress size. After Shaun T's insanity program i started going to the gym and doing more physical activities like running, swimming and bicycle riding in the summer. I found that I started to love myself a little better everyday, I took a lot more pictures (there is nothing wrong with a little vanity; just taking out time to appreciate my hard work).

Then real life began again when the summer ended and it was time to return to school. I had to juggle school, working out and other real life situations. The fact is that it takes dedication to do this, you have to want it bad enough to do this. If you want to add physical activities into your daily life i suggest you start with 3 days a week for 30-45mins and keep increasing the number of days and if possible the amount of time spent each day. My goal at the moment is 5 days a week+ Yoga or Pilates.

It takes more than just wanting it, i know i said you have to want it bad enough but it is time for you to get up and do something about it, if you were waiting for sign to start this is it! DREAMS+EFFORT= REALITY
Get up and go. Listen to me. I know it is hard but get there first and if you cant do the whole time, half bread is better than none. I guarantee you that 9/10 times you will find the strength to complete your time. Right now it is no longer just about my weight loss goals it is about proving to myself that i can whatever i put my mind to.
Thanks for reading.
XOXO
