Chicken Kebabs


4 skinless chicken thighs
 1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp tumeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 onion, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced

1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbspsuya spice
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp garlic ginger paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1tsp caramelised onion


1) Rinse chicken thighs with lemon and water. Cut into halves and flavour with salt,pepper and turmeric. Leave for about 5 mins. Make sure to put kebab sticks into water as this prevents them from burning.

2) Cut up onion/pepper and start to assemble kebab. I assembled mine starting with chicken then onion,pepper and then chicken again etc. Make sure to preheat oven to 350c.

3) I made a marinade by mixing ketchup,suya spice,honey and the other spices listed.

4) Once all my kebabs were assembled I put them in the oven and after 15 mins brought them out to brush the marinade on both sides and then put them back in for another 15 mins.

5) Enjoy on its own or with whatever you fancy.
