Shrimp & 3 Pillar rice

I got the day off work today and was craving shrimp so decided to whip up this quick delicious meal. Shrimp (and sea food in general) is a great source of protein.

Since I strength train, I try to get a good amount of protein in my diet. I add whatever I like to eat and try to make it look and taste great. Try it and let me know what you think of this recipe.

Ingredients:
Raw shrimp
Rice
Cucumber, red and yellow peppers
Carrots, white and red onions
Lemon and lime
Mushrooms
Lite soy sauce (1 table spoon)
Olive oil (1 tea spoon)
Salt (to taste), Adobo seasoning, onion powder, black pepper.

Directions:
  • Boil rice (adding a pinch of salt) on low heat. When boiled (soft to your liking), stuff in shot glasses to make your pillars.
  • Wash and peel the shrimp. Spice it up!
  •  Chop up the vegetables.
  •  Add 1 tea spoon of olive oil to your pan and heat it up to medium heat. This will not take long. Throw in your shrimp. Let it cook for 1 minute then add your chopped up carrots and onions.
  • Add 1 table spoon of lite soy sauce.
  •  Set aside the shrimp and vegetables. In the same pan, throw in the chopped up peppers and cucumber for about 1 minute (do not overcook).
  • Serve on a nice dinner plate and enjoy! Drizzle lemon and lime juice if you wish. #ChefObi

Unfortunately, I do not count calories. If you are particular about your caloric intake, and if any of the ingredients here seem to be above your preferred limit, please substitute accordingly.
